Ruzhany synagogue: an impressive ruin

Though the local authorities have fenced in the Ruzhany synagogue, people have found their way inside and left garbage and even graffiti.

We had to climb the high fence erected by the local authorities to get into the synagogue ruins; even with the garbage strewn inside and a roof whose wooden slats let in the weather, the Ruzhany synagogue is still very impressive.
